Animation Festival: ANIBIA is the place where we celebrate, meet, and share artistic and cultural creation, specifically the diverse forms of audiovisual animation. It takes place on a rotating basis throughout Colombia and is affiliated with international initiatives that share this objective and promote the dissemination of animated works.

In 2012, he received a scholarship to attend the Screenwriting Diploma program at the Ibero-American Forum for Film Studies (El Foro) in Mexico. He taught himself stop-motion animation until October 2020, when he received a scholarship to participate in “Ajayulab 2020,” an animation workshop (specializing in stop-motion) held as part of the “Festival Internacional de Animación Ajayu.” He has collaborated on stop-motion projects for the artists Damaris and Milena Warthon. He is co-director of the short film “Masa,” produced as part of the “Laboratorio RAD Pukllay” in 2024. He also directed the animated scene for Jacqueline Riveros’s short film “Tanta Wawa.”

Laura Moncada is a director, producer, and animator. She holds a degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Production & Interactive Design from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. She has worked in the animation industry for over 12 years, specializing in 2D tradigital, cut-out, and stop-motion techniques. She is the co-founder of Fiero Studio, winners of the 2025 Lápiz de Acero Award in Animation. She is currently directing her first short film, SAUDADE, and has worked as an animation director, head of production, and line producer on various music videos, miniseries, short films, and feature films.
