I am an Audiovisual Producer and Filmmaker graduated from the Universidad del Magdalena, with a strong interest in character design for animation and the development of audiovisual projects focused on storytelling and artistic expression. I have knowledge of 2D animation and cut-out animation techniques, as well as experience in clean-up and color processes for 2D animation productions. I directed the animated short film Boato, which was selected for the first Development Program of the Animalatina Festival 2023 (Argentina) and received the Best Pitch Award at the Caribetoons Festival 2023 (Colombia). I have also worked as a Production Assistant on short films, strengthening my skills in organization, planning, and team coordination throughout the different stages of audiovisual production.

Amaru is an indigenous girl who lives in the forest. Through the mystical powers granted by the sacred Tanok tree, Amaru will travel to protect animals through teachings and learning that will help them maintain and conserve their species.

She has held roles in executive production, creative production, and screenwriting on projects for both cinema and television. Since 2023, she has focused her work on children’s animation and narratives that explore the relationship between childhood, nature, and territory. She has been trained in children’s audiences under the Children in the Center methodology . She is currently the producer of the animated feature film and series Katú and the Magic Forest .

His work integrates visual storytelling, conceptual development, and cultural identity, approaching animation as a strategic language capable of articulating communication, emotion, and critical thinking. He has developed and led multiple animation projects from ideation to production, combining creative processes, design methodologies, and technological exploration. As a university professor, he trains designers and animators with a strong foundation in narrative, art direction, and concept development, promoting a rigorous practice grounded in cultural awareness and contemporary visual culture.
