The Latin American Amateur Animation Festival (ANIMATEUR) is a space created to promote and showcase emerging animation talent in the region. Aimed at students, self-taught artists, and independent creators, it seeks to encourage creativity and cultural exchange through amateur short films and animated projects. The festival brings together proposals from different Latin American countries, promotes collective learning through workshops and talks, and serves as a meeting platform for those starting out in the world of animation.
The El Ojo Iluso Animation Film Festival takes place in San Cristóbal, Venezuela, with in-person and virtual screenings. It showcases animated works from around the world and offers workshops, talks, and educational activities. It promotes creativity, independent animation, and cultural exchange.
